Chroma-key back drop

We have 2 colours of chroma-key backdrop and that is Blue and Green, Why these colours?

It is the colours that are furthest away from flesh tones, the idea of chroma-key is to use software to remove the background and that allows you to insert an alternative backgroundor take it to white. This is true of studio flash and also digital video work, blue was always traditionally used but green has become a lot more popular. There are some advantages of using blue and that is it is the complementary the colour of flesh tones so is an obvoius choice. More…
