Noiseware that Neat Image
release a new version of their
award winning software. I use
this software for my noise
reduction tool and very
impressive it is, so any
improvement is welcome and I
can't wait to use the new

I
use RawShooter for my Raw
conversion and for a free
product it's really great, now
they have teamed up with
Imagenomic it seems there will
be integration at some point. I
haven't used Noiseware in fact I
use neat image for my noise
reduction but I think it is time
for me to try Noiseware out and
see just how good it is and I
will let you know how I get on.

OPTICS PRO VERSION 3.0 SOFTWARE

They have made available a
public beta version of its
soon-to-be released DxO
Optics Pro version 3.0
software.
Download it and you get the
fully working program for 30
days, I have had a play around
with it and it has some nifty
features but I just feel that I
don't have as much control over
the outcome as with other
packages. Maybe I need to get
used to it a bit more it seems
to do things in a way I am not
used to, I think this is a great
tool if you have to process a
great number of images very
quickly.

D70 Firmware update 2.0 for
Windows
Nikon have released new firmware
version 2 for the D70 this was
announced in April and can now
be downloaded. Several
improvements have been made
notable to the 5 area autofocus
system, I think this is a must
for all D70 owners.

One 3.7 with new features & increased stability
Capture One has now released version 3.7 Pro/DB and 3.7 LE, of their RAW
conversion software, along with this they
have discontinued the SE version and are giving free upgrades to 3.7 LE.
Capture one were the leaders in raw conversion software but have slipped back
with the advent of the superb Pixamantec free rawshooter software and the
excellent Bibble software.

RawShooter essentials 2005
Update v.1.1.2
We featured Rawshooter in
March this is a great free raw
conversion software, don't
believe just because it's free
at the moment and that somehow it
may not live up to the quality
of programs costing hundreds of
pounds. Let me tell you that is
not the case and go and download
it. I find the output from this
program is of the highest
quality and fast too. The latest
update Includes Improved Support
for Nikon D2X and updated User
Guide.
